Make a visit to the city of Cardenas. You will be welcomed in the
sugar factory and will receive an explanation of how sugar is made
from sugar cane. Visit the factory inside and taste the Sugar Cane
juice, called " Guarapo ". Ride in a train drawn by a
steam locomotive of the early XXth Century. Visit a cleaning center
in a sugar cane plantation and see how sugar cane is hand-cut out
in the fields. Return to Varadero.
